Katrina Cabin Project
Saw a report on this amazing project last night on Dan Rather Reports (which is quickly becoming the only news broadcast I watch).
In lieu of permanent housing, minimal and structurally sound cottages are being built at a low cost to give Katrina victims a home and more importantly, a sense of community after last year's devastation.
Kudos to Marianne Cusato, the architect and visionary behind this concept.
